In October we went to Theodore Roosevelt Island in Arlington, VA. This is a pretty neat place. Right in the middle of this island is this big statue along with two fountains (Madeleine got wet) and quotes by President Roosevelt on giant basilisks--whoops, I mean monoliths (don't look into his eyes, Harry!). Coming to DC? This is a pretty place to visit.
