I have put my direct line in green for the benefit of my immediate family. I want to put more than just the straight facts on this page and in my opinion until anything is confirmed most of this info is speculative. Follow links to each name for sources. 1. John J. LOLLAR Born 11 July 1779 Buchanan, Granville County, North Carolina. Died 31 May 1866 Sparta, White County, Tennessee.
Married Omie BURGESS about 1804/1808 in Granville County, North Carolina. Research indicates Omie died and then John married Nancy STONE, born 18 Nov 1794 North Carolina, died 17 Aug 1865 Sparta, White County, Tennessee. It is unclear to which mother the children belong but according to information in a RootsWeb archive Isaac's and possibly Elizabeth's mother was Omie Burgess. Some point after John married Nancy is probably when the family moved to Tennessee. Based on the birthdates that I have listed for the children I'm guessing they moved to TN between 1811 and 1814, if Martha's actual birthdate is 1822. It is also doubtful that ZL, NL, AL and FPL would have been John and Nancy's children. John would have been between 65 & 77 and Nancy would have been between 50 & 62.
